Riley & Associates, Inc. roots go back to 1936 at 13 Broad Street. That is when Joseph P. Riley, Sr. opened for business in downtown Charleston. Mr. Riley was the father of Charleston’s long-term serving mayor- Joe Riley, Jr
Russ Parker went to work for Mr. Riley in 1980, and in 1986 Riley retired and Russ purchased the agency. In March of that year Russ changed the name to Riley & Associates and focused on growing the agency. Through the years, Riley & Associates has purchased 5 agencies and is now focusing its new production with knowledgeable producers.
In January 2001, the agency left downtown Charleston and moved to its new office building in Mt. Pleasant. The focus of Riley & Associates is on customer service. All of the staff is committed to providing timely solutions to our valued customers. Prompt, accurate and courteous service is JOB ONE.
